Disclaimer
Why every colour value on this site should be verified before it reaches production or print.

General information only
Everything published on navybluecolorcode.com is provided for general informational and educational purposes. The colour values, contrast ratios, conversions and design guidance on this site are offered in good faith and are believed to be accurate at the time of publication, but they are supplied without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Colour accuracy
Colour is not an absolute. The same HEX value can appear noticeably different depending on your display panel, its calibration, its colour profile, ambient lighting and the operating system's colour management. Dark, saturated navies are especially sensitive to these variables. A shade that looks correct on a calibrated monitor may look purple, black or washed out elsewhere.
For this reason, no preview on this site should be treated as a colour-accurate proof. If you are matching an existing brand colour, specifying paint, ordering printed material or approving a manufactured product, verify the colour using a physical sample, a calibrated proof or the relevant standardised colour system.
CMYK conversions
The CMYK values shown here are produced with a standard mathematical conversion that does not account for a specific ICC profile, paper stock, ink set or press condition. They are a reasonable starting point, not a print specification. Your printer's own colour-managed conversion will differ, and theirs is the one that matters for production.
Accessibility figures
Contrast ratios are calculated using the WCAG 2.1 relative luminance formula against flat colour. Real interfaces include gradients, images, opacity, borders and anti-aliasing, all of which affect perceived contrast. Passing a numerical threshold on this site does not by itself mean your interface is accessible. Test your actual pages with real assistive technology.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal, branding, trademark or professional design advice. If a colour is central to your brand identity or subject to trademark considerations, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
